Junior Dealer
In line with the Bank’s continued development, the need has arisen to engage a suitable individual to perform the duties of a Junior Dealer within the Treasury Department.
The main responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:
- conducting and executing financial transactions with the Bank’s counterparties on behalf of the Bank and its customers;
- maintaining and managing Treasury related files, records, financial logs, statistical information and other documentation as required;
- the Junior Dealer will also assist in the daily valuation and management of the Treasury’s financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and liquidity risk;
- other responsibilities include the maintenance of static data for Treasury business, daily nostro positions, regulatory reporting, and revaluation reports.
- performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
The applicants as a minimum shall:
- have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Office tool products (Word & Excel);
- have a basic knowledge and a general interest in financial markets;
- have the ability to conduct tasks with minimum supervision, as well as being dependable and reliable;
- be a self-starter who works well under pressure with enthusiasm and drive;
- be highly numerate and possess strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills to identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations;
- be able to prioritize and work under pressure without compromising quality;
- be self-motivated and able to work within a team;
- be ready to learn and attend any courses related to the job requirements.
