Banking Systems Support Officer

In line with the Bank’s continued development, the need has arisen to engage a suitable individual to perform the duties of Banking Systems Support Officer. 

The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:  

  • Maintaining a banking systems support desk;
  • Investigating and providing a resolution to user support issues;
  • Escalating any unresolved issues with systems vendors;
  • Recommending improvements to banking procedures in line with banking systems workflows;
  • Drawing up test packs for testing of updates and new releases;
  • Conducting test and documenting results of updates and new releases;
  • Conducting user-access reviews in line with established procedures;
  • Performing any tasks ancillary to the above. 

The applicants as a minimum shall:   

  • Hold an MQF Level 4 qualification in Information Technology or a related professional / technical qualification;
  • Possess sound analytical skills, capacity for teamwork and determination;
  • Have good communication skills, particularly in spoken and written English. 

Experience in banking or financial services will be considered an asset.
