Credit Officer

The successful candidate will join our Credit Department to be part of a team of other Credit Officers.

Duties

• Initiate /Assess credit applications and renewal of facilities;
• Monitor, control and review existing credit facilities;
• Oversee the perfection of collateral;
• Establish and maintain relationships with borrowing customers;
• Assist in the overall day-to-day administration of the Credit Department.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience;
• Have an understanding of the interpretation of financial statements;
• Can work both independently and also within a team;
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Be able to prioritise and work under pressure, without compromising quality;
• Hold a command of both Maltese and English.
