Data Processing Manager
In line with the Bank’s continued development, the need has arisen to engage a Data Processing Manager. The successful candidate will join the Bank's Data Processing Department which focuses on payments processing, digitisation and clearing services.
The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute the direction for the payment processing, aligning with the Bank’s business goals.
- Lead and manage the team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous development of staff.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of payment systems, including SEPA, SWIFT, Instant Payments and cross-border payment solutions.
- Ensure the payment services function operates in compliance with relevant regulations and maintains high standards of security, fraud prevention, and data protection.
- Foster relationships with the sector and regulatory bodies whilst attending fora on related subjects.
- Drive innovation within the payments space, identifying emerging trends, technologies and opportunities for new solutions.
- Prepare and present operational and regulatory reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Department, ensuring targets are met and operational risks are minimised.
- Ensure clearing services are undertaken in due time and to the required standards in line with regulatory obligations.
- Perform digitisation services in line with business requirements.

- Be change and results oriented;
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Have strong planning and organisational skills;
- Have a strong understanding of the banking and payment services including regulatory aspects;
- Be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Preferably hold a related professional qualification;
- Have work experience in a similar or related post.
