Accounting Technician

The successful candidate will form part of the Bank’s team within Finance Department and be responsible for assisting with accounting and finance duties, playing an integral role in the achievement of the Department’s objectives and responsibilities. 

The main responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with the areas of financial and management accounting
  • Support processes pertaining to the maintenance of the general ledger
  • Performing any other processes and procedures that are relevant to the objectives set for Finance Department.

The applicants as a minimum shall:

  • Ideally hold a qualification up to Accounting Technician level
  • Have a working knowledge of standard office automation tools
  • Be self-driven and committed to meet set targets and deadlines
  • Have a clear focus on high quality and excellence
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply analytical thinking and welcomes change
  • Be self-motivated and work on own initiative as well as within a team.
