Finance Analyst

The successful candidate will join the Bank’s Finance Department and be responsible for the preparation of regulatory and statistical information and the interpretation and application of banking rules and regulation. 

The main responsibilities of the role include but not be limited to: 

• Compilation of ongoing financial returns and responding to ad-hoc regulatory queries;
• Participate and assist in projects implementing new requirements and the related reporting templates;
• Maintain documentation related to internal procedures and regulation interpretations;
• Prepare and assist with the preparation of financial reports for use and analysis by management;
• Assist in coordinating and implementing changes to reporting systems;
• Performing reconciliations of financial records and other control activities;
• Assisting in the day-to-day routine processes and procedures of Finance Department;
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as required.

The applicant as a minimum shall:

• Ideally hold or is in the process of obtaining a qualification in Banking and Finance;
• Possess IT skills for data quality analysis and reporting and have a working knowledge of standard office automation packages particularly Excel;
• Be self-driven and committed to meet set targets and deadlines;
• Have a clear focus on high quality and excellence;
• Apply analytical thinking and adapt to change;
• Be keen to develop skills and enhance knowledge;
• Be a team-player with a commitment to assist and cooperate with other team members;
